HeidiSQL is a free and open source MySQL connection app and DB tool developed by Ansgar Becker for Windows, it's powerful and innovative.
The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC and a list of features has been compiled; see below. We've also created some screenshots of HeidiSQL to illustrate the user interface and show the overall usage and features of this MySQL connection program.
A Windows client for MariaDB and MySQL
HeidiSQL is a Windows client for MariaDB and MySQL, and is bundled with the Windows version of MariaDB.
HeidiSQL is free software, and has the aim to be easy to learn. Heidi lets you see and edit data and structures from computers running one of the database systems MariaDB, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite.

HeidiSQL has been released under the open source GPL license on Windows from database software. What version of Windows can HeidiSQL run on?
HeidiSQL can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
